The Specialized Turbo Levo SL is an electric mountain bike that boasts ultra smooth and super quiet credentials. At the core of this bike is a Full Power 1.2 motor which has been paired to and MasterMind Turbo Control Unit (TCU) to provide the assistance you need, at your fingertips. Adjustable geometry and 150 millimetres of travel in the rear suspension provides the rider with all the engagement needed to really get the most out of the trails.

Specialized Turbo Levo battery and motor

Powerful and reliable, the Levo uses a Turbo Full Power 1.2 motor which is exclusive to the range. This custom-tuned motor balances optimal power with excellent levels of torque. Owners of the bike will enjoy 320 watts of power, a 33% increase on its predecessor, and 50 Nm of peak torque, which equates to a whopping 43% increase on its predecessor. Peace of mind, mile after mile can be assured with the addition of a robust belt and a new hatch, with double seals around the charge port. This protects the motor from dirt and rain.

MasterMind Turbo Control Unit

To get the most out of every ride, Specialized has used the MasterMind Turbo Control Unit, ensuring efficiency and power output are optimised throughout the ride. This is the brain of the bike and enables over-the-air updates to improve your Levo's ride throughout the time you own it. The MasterMind TCU integrates with Specialized's Mission Control app to put the power in your hands when it comes to tuning the bike or delving into on-trail diagnostics.

A few other key benefits of the TCU include:

- The ability to display remaining battery charge

- Personalisation of the display arrangement, with 120 possible configurations

- Live Consumption, a feature that helps you pedal more efficiently, thus maximising range

- The MicroTune feature enables real-time power personalisation in 10% increments

Mixed wheel configuration

Agile and responsive, the mixed wheel size configuration on the Specialized Levo Turbo makes it one of the most exciting eMTBs out there. A 27.5" rear wheel reduces the chainstay length, to make the bike more playful on the trails, while the 29" front wheel rolls seamlessly over even the most challenging of obstacles.

Specialized Turbo Levo SL Suspension

Wherever the trail goes you can ride with confidence on the Levo thanks to 160 millimetres of travel on the fork and 150 millimetres of rear travel. Highly controlled, responsive and as capable as a bike with more travel, the Specialized team has tailored the Levo's suspension kinematics, leverage curves, damping and spring rates to work harmoniously together to provide a truly superior ride.

Trail ready geometry

The engineers at Specialized have spent countless hours refining the Levo, using the award-winning Stumpjumper EVO as a blueprint. The result is a bike that can boast benchmark trail geometry which in turn provides excellent control for the rider. The expansive cockpit optimises traction on loose surfaces and ensures control in the corners is not sacrificed. The slack headtube and a reduction in fork offset add to this bike's stable and assured ride feel, while the head angle can be personalised to run it in either a 64, 64.25 or 65.5 degree setup, depending on the terrain.

Specialized Turbo Levo Sizing

When it comes to sizing, Specialized uses their S-Sizing. This takes into account the rider's size and style rather than basing a size purely on an inseam measurement. Six sizes are on offer, all sharing similar headtube lengths and standover heights. For those looking for a more nimble ride, sizing down is recommended and for those after a bike that delivers a stable ride, sizing up should be the way to go.

Specialized's Turbo Levo SL range consists of a wide spectrum of models to suit a variety of needs and budgets including these two popular models:
